MTWFA PDS - 2026 Field Day

Description

Join the Massachusetts Tree Wardens' and Foresters' Association for an educational Field Day. In addition to the education sessions, there will be skills events, exhibitors, raffle prizes, and a chicken bake lunch.

Chainsaw Sharpening Basics
Basic Tree Felling Techniques

Skills Events:
Chainsaw Challenge. Reining champion: Tom Brady. This is a timed event. The participant who can reassemble a torn-down chainsaw the fastest wins! First Place: $100 Second Place: $75 Third Place: $50 

NEW for 2026 Throw Line: Participants attempt to hit targets suspended from an aerial lift. First Place: $100 Second Place: $75 Third Place: $50 

Proceeds from this event will benefit the MTWFA Scholarships. 1 MQTW, 4 ISA, 2 MCA, 1 MCA Safety, 1 Pesticide, 4 CTSP Pending. THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT.
