MTWFA Scholarship Application Form

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

Successful college applicants who have completed the first college semester with a minimum 2.0 GPA (on a 4-point scale) will receive their award checks at the UMass Amherst Tree Conference in March 2020. 

Successful applicants who are still in high school at the time of application will receive their scholarship checks upon successful completion of their first college semester with a minimum 2.0 GPA (on a 4-point scale). It is the applicant’s responsibility to submit an unofficial transcript of his/her first semester grades to the Massachusetts Tree Wardens’ and Foresters’ Association. 

Applicant Instructions:

• Complete the information requested on the application form.
• Upload a reference from your professor or instructor 
• Upload your most recent semester grades
• Upload a short letter to the Scholarship Committee explaining: 
  • Your reason for applying for the MTWFA Scholarship
  • Your educational and vocational objectives.
  • Include information about yourself that you think would be helpful to the committee.
