Description
Join Forest Health Specialist, Eric Peterson at Mohawk Trail State Forest to hike and learn about the different pests and pathogens affecting the forests of the Commonwealth. We will be discussing beech leaf disease, emerald ash borer, white pine decline, and a myriad of other topics. Be aware, the hike involves significant elevation gain and can be moderately difficult at points.

To sign up, please email Tom Prior at thomas.prior@mass.gov with your name, which date you will be attending, and if you will be applying for pesticide contact hours or professional credits. The workshops are free, but registration is required, as space is limited. Professional Credits: 1 pesticide contact hour available for Massachusetts categories 35, 36, and applicators license. MCA CEU credits, ISA CEU credits, MA Licensed Forester CFE credits, and MA Timber Harvester credits.
